Thank you for taking an interest in Sneaky Creek Outdoors. We hope you make this your primary stop on the internet for all things outdoors related. We do however ask that you take a few moments to read through our bylaws concerning the forum. We strive to provide a family friendly atmosphere here on the forums because after all, that's what being outside is all about........good times, fellowship, and down time with family and friends. Two key rules to remember when posting before I go into all the legalese: If you wouldn't post it or talk about it in front of the kids then don't put it on here. Treat others as you would like to be treated. If you can follow these two basic rules, there won't be any problems. So with that in mind, we hope you enjoy your experience and be sure to tell all your friends and family about us.

Now the not so fun stuff>>>>>>>>>>>

The use of it is a privilege and not a right. By posting on the SCO forum you agree to the following terms:

By your use of the SneakyCreekOutdoors.com (SCO.com) forums you agree to and accept the terms of use as outlined below;

The email address must be valid because you will be sent a confirmation email that must be activated before you can view or post in the forum! This information is for our own use and we will not sell, trade, or give away your email address to any outside source.

Posting of copyrighted material is prohibited

No posting of copyrighted material-The use or posting of copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have prior consent is not allowed. You cannot legally post entire magazine or news articles in the forum without permission from the copyright holder. Even if you attribute the article correctly it’s still copyright infringement.

Copyright law does not care if you make any money off of the work or not, what matters is if you hurt the potential income of the copyright holder.

Under Fair Use provisions you can legally post a small abstract of an article - or perhaps the opening paragraph. If you want to post an article you should do this and include a link, or just post the link. The exception to this rule is press releases; press releases are meant for distribution and can be copied and distributed as much as you want.

If you are not sure if you can copy something then always err on the side of caution and simply post a link to the material.

Information, including pictures, copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the member should not be posted on the discussion forums without the consent of the owner. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible.

If you would like more information concerning copyright got to www.copyright.gov.
