To all who serve

"Thank you" just doesn't seem to say enough to our men and women who serve or have served in our military to defend our way of life. So many times I think, people take for granted just how precious the gift of freedom is, or realize how high the price. It's men and women who have stood up and made a stand, willing to lay their lives on the line, and some gave their lives so that freedom and America can continue to be "the land of the free and home of the brave". I personally have had the honor of serving and am still serving with some of the best guys and girls that this great nation has to offer.

So to all of you who have worn the uniform, no matter what branch or what campaign/theater you served....THANK YOU for everything you do/have done to pave the way, for your service, and for keeping us all free! May God bless you all and keep you!

We need to all say a special prayer for the 100 brave troops who are being sent into Africa by the great wisdom of their Commander in Chief. We do not need another Black Hawk down situation. These troops are supposed to act as advisors and not shoot until they are shot at. Bad, bad idea. I met a truck driver who had the same orders in Iraq. They were met by heavily armed forces - including the 12 year old boy who shot him in the leg. The truck driver still walks with a limp.
